The Asawa Joint Case is a handcrafted woven metal case that’s the same size as a standard cigarette box, designed to store your joints with a sense of timeless refinement. The woven metal texture takes inspiration from the sculptures of artist Ruth Asawa, and nods to woven designs by Bottega Veneta. The case pairs with the matching Asawa Lighter Cover, while the Tsubota Pearl Sigaretta Petrol Lighter is small enough to fit inside the case. Choose between a matte brass or glossy silver finish.
The Asawa Lighter Cover is inspired by the woven metal sculptures of the innovative Japanese-American artist Ruth Asawa. The handcrafted cover is designed to fit perfectly over a standard BIC lighter, elevating the simple act of lending a light. It feels weighty and substantial in hand, more like a piece of jewelry or a fine pocketwatch to pull out, use, and share—just make sure you get it back before the end of the night. The lighter cover is part of the Asawa collection, which includes a matching joint case, and is available in a matte brass or glossy silver finish.
AMITHA collaborated with artist and maker Billy Ray Morgan on this live-edge cherry wood bath tray with a hammered copper ashtray, a completely unique piece of home decor that evokes craft, ritual, and function. Morgan carves the tray of durable cherry wood that's wide enough to hold a book and candle, glass of wine-whatever bath accoutrements are required. Cherry is resistant to moisture and warping, and imbued with a natural strength for long-lasting use. The ashtray is hand-forged, a traditional metalworking technique that creates an organic texture. It can be removed and used on its own as an ashtray or catchall, and like the wood, will take on a beautiful patina over time.
Sustainably sourced and handmade in New York.
The Rrose Pipe by AMITHA is designed to be shared among friends—featuring two mouthpieces so you don’t have to share germs. Despite its handheld size, the pipe’s construction allows for a strong, smooth pull. When it rests on a shelf in its custom base, the pipe transforms into a small glass sculpture resembling sea coral. Named after Marcel Duchamp’s drag alter ego Rrose Sélavy, this dual-headed pipe invites a playful intimacy among friends. Each piece is handmade by renowned glass artist Sibelle Yüksek.
This is indeed a pipe that doubles as sculptural art, a playful ode to René Magritte’s “The Treachery of Images.” Designed by LA-based glass artist Sibelle Yüksek exclusively for AMITHA, the glass sculpture rests in a brass or silver glass base when not in use. The form of the Magritte Pipe enables users to take a strong pull and can be used with water to cool the smoke down for a smoother hit. Display it on a bookshelf or coffee table as a functional work of art.
Minimalist and modern, the Judd Poker references the stacked geometric sculptures by artist Donald Judd and pairs with the rest of the Judd Collection (including a joint case and storage box) or style it on the Serra rolling tray. Use the flattened edge to pack your joint, while the pointed side can be used to remove plant material from the bowl of your pipe. Choose between a warm brass or glossy silver finish.
These striking pre-rolled cones are based on an original painting by the Baltimore-based artist Phaan Howng, whose work traces the horticultural history of how plants came to be seen as objects, rather than living beings that are integral to our existence. Her Snakes On A Plain series imagines house plants gone wild, taking back the environment from which they were uprooted. In her painting for AMITHA, vibrant red snake plant leaves ignite across the canvas, which was then transformed into a digital print. Field Trip makes the pre-rolled cones with organic, food-grade vegetable inks on organic rice paper, with sustainably sourced arabic gum as the adhesive.
