The Judd Tabletop Lighter is a sculptural object designed for daily ritual. An homage to Donald Judd and his 1970s plywood works, it reflects a commitment to proportion and material integrity.

Crafted from renewable mango wood, the base brings warmth and natural tonal variation to its architectural form. No two pieces are identical. A vintage-style vector insert produces an adjustable flame at the press of a button.

Designed for the styled bookshelf or console, it moves seamlessly between sculpture and function.

care & use

Use butane fuel and avoid lighter fluid. Make sure no open flames are near. Adjust flame height to low setting. Bleed the fuel tank by pressing down on the lighter refill valve until hissing stops (see diagram). Shake refill can to check for butane gas. Hold both the refill can and the lighter upside down in each hand. Push refill nozzle firmly, and all the way into the lighter valve. Fuel in position for 15-20 seconds. Wait until lighter reaches room temperature before igniting (approximately 5-10 minutes). Reset flame height from low flame to desired setting.
